Marruecos opened in 2006, and is really just a cheap hotel located the the heart of the San Jose sex scene.
If you ever wanted to stay in a $30 a night hotel room with $20 prostitutes waiting in the reception then this is your place.
The quality of girls does tend to vary, however the Tica owner also operates another pension on the wilder, less gringo traveled south side of San Jose, and she brings in new talent from there.
The place is popular with single guys on a budget, and sometimes some Funny Things go down there.
Marruecos is worth a quick look as your cruise other venues in this location, which include Muses, Jet Set 70E, Flamingo, and Krysis.

I STAYED IN THE ROOM WHERE THAT VIDEO WAS TAKEN - THAT WAS A BAD DEAL - OTHER THEN THAT I HAVE NEVER HAD ANY PROBLEM - THE GIRLS ARE SOMETIMES PRETTY GOOD, BUT THE PRICE IS ALWAYS PRETTY GOOD. CLOSE TO THE ACTION AND VERY VERY CLEAN.
I have been their many times over the years sometimes great and not so great but overall a good deal GO THIER.
do they have a safe/locker for your stuff in this place? is it safe to leave passport ect..
Yes, they do have a safe just ask when you check in.
I also stayed and it is a very sub-class hotel. I did find one nice girl to spend by with who was originally from Nicaragua. Prices are right and girl are friendly, just not an overnight venue I would recommend. I had a much nice place at the Morazan Hotel.
I've stayed here and it can be a rowdy place occasionally at night but mostly because of drunk gringos who have nothing to do with you. Still $35 for a private room with your own in room shower is not a bad deal and the owners are good people. Practical people but good people. Import your own talent if you don't like what's on tap and enjoy.

Don't attempt to book via the internet - no one speaks english or understands anything, call on the phone or go in person - take a look and book your next trip, if you use cash and stay for 5 days they have rooms for as low as $20 a night. I know guys that paid $300 a month - check it out - I stayed for 8 days once it was great.
